Average Chiropractor's Fees
A survey conducted by the Chiropractic Economics Magazine indicated that the average chiropractic session costs around $65. Sessions can range from $35 to over $110 depending on where you live, procedures performed, and amount of time spent with the patient. Typically the first visit has a higher cost due to the time involved to include history, exam, education, and documentation. Average fees are highest in the South and are around $70 per session.
Costs of Health Care
Healthcare costs continue to rise faster than inflation according to an article posted from Forbes (Jun 2015). There was a 1% increase in just one month from July to August 2016 according to the US Labor Dept, and as premiums and deductibles continue to rise many are looking to alternative health options. Health is something you cannot afford to neglect.
In this day and age you will have to pay sooner or later and it's almost always more cost-effective and time-efficient to deal with pain now then to wait until you are in crisis mode. It is similar to repairing a leak versus a broken pipe that floods your house. In term's of economics, $153 billion annually is lost in productivity due to unhealthy workers in the United States. An estimate from OSHA says that 34% of that is due to musculoskeletal disorders alone.
